Driving 200 V motor by 400 V inverter
I want to use the 400 V inverter for 400 V and 200 V motors. Can I use a single 400 V inverter for both?

A 400 V inverter does not operate when 200 V is supplied to it, therefore the motor does not rotate.
A 200 V motor can be rotated by a 400 V inverter, however, a 400 V inverter's output voltage peak value is higher than 200 V and may exceed the withstand voltage of the motor. Therefore, use a 200 V inverter to drive a 200 V motor.
