What happens if reset occurs during operation?
On Page 37 of the advanced course text of the inverter, there is a valuable check point.
Its last line says "Do not reset the inverter while operating the motor". Why is this?

Answer
This is because when the inverter restarts while the motor is coasting, an overcurrent trip can occur during the restart process. However, the recent types of inverters with the fast-response current limit operation function is not likely to trip even when it is restarted while the motor is coasting.
Note that if the inverter is reset while the motor is operating, the motor coasts and can damage the machine if they are not coordinated.
Note that the recent types of inverters can be inhibited from being reset during normal operation. (Set Pr.75 = "1", "3", "15", or "17".)
