JOG function
I set Pr.180 (RL terminal function selection) to "5" (JOG) to assign the JOG function to the terminal RL. However, the JOG function does not work.I want to input the start signal from an external source and set the running frequency with the setting dial or use the JOG frequency.

Answer
When Pr.79 is set to "3", the JOG operation is not available by turning ON the terminal JOG.
Instead of the JOG function, you can set the low-speed RL of the multi-speed function to 5 Hz, assign RT (second function selection) to an unused terminal, set the second acceleration/deceleration time. Then, turn ON the terminals RT and RL simultaneously to implement the same function as JOG.
