Is speed 2 switching between the potentiometer on the operation panel and multi-speed operation possible?
During operation using the potentiometer, I want the inverter to decelerate before the operation edge and stop at the edge.

Yes. Set parameters as below.
For FR-E500
Set Pr.79 =3, and Pr.146= 0.
Multi-speed is prioritized.
For FR-S500
Set Pr.79 = 3, and Pr.53 = 1.
Multi-speed is prioritized.
For FR-E500
Set Pr.79 =3, and Pr.146= 0.
Multi-speed is prioritized.
For FR-S500
Set Pr.79 = 3, and Pr.53 = 1.
