FR-RC selection
I am considering to use the FR-RC with a device that continuously operates under a negative load, and referencing the selection table of "Braking torque at continuous rating".
1. Does the 100% braking torque in the table mean the 100% motor rated torque?
For example, can I consider that the FR-RC-15K is capable of continuous regenerative driving up to the 11 kW motor's rated torque "70 N?m"?
2. When upgrading the inverter capacity base on the motor capacity, can I use the motor capacity as the reference to choose the FR-RC type?
Is it not necessary to consider the inverter capacity?

Answer
1. The 100% braking torque means the 100% motor rated torque. Do not consider the continuous regenerative driving based on the braking torque. Consider the regenerative power. For regenerative operation at 1500 rpm with 70 N?m torque, the power is 11 kW and regenerative driving is possible.
2. When the inverter capacity is upgraded based on the motor capacity, choose the FR-RC also based on the motor capacity.
