Common terminals of control circuit

The technical material instructs not to ground the common terminals of the control circuit. Why is this? What happens if it is grounded?
Also, does connecting SD and SE cause a problem?

Answer

If you ground the common terminals of the control circuit, it is connected with the inverter's earthing and the inverter's noise may be input to the control circuit to cause malfunction.
Therefore the technical material instructs not to ground the common terminals of the control circuit.
