Operation at external operation/stop
I use the FR-E520-3.7K in external operation.
When it stops, noise is heard from the motor, indicating that the motor tries to rotate.
When the external potentiometer is removed, the potential between the terminals 2 and 10 deviates within the range of 0 to 10 V. (It rises and falls repeatedly.)
Is this normal?

Answer
It is recommended to turn OFF the start signals (STF and STR) when stopping the inverter.
In this case, it is not probable that the motor rotates due to a calibration error of analog frequency setting or noise.
If the motor rotates while the start signals (STF and STR) are input and the potentiometer is set to the minimum value, it is considered that the calibration of the terminal 2 is misaligned. Check calibration of the potentiometer.
Check the start and speed signal input again.
Note that the terminal 10 is the 5 V power supply and terminal 2 is the frequency setting voltage input.
To check the setting frequency, measure the voltage between the terminal 5 (frequency setting common) and terminal 2.
