How do I connect the external 24V DC power supply for sensors to a programmable controller?

Answer
Connect the "0V (-)" terminal of the external 24V DC power supply to the "COM" terminal (- side of the built-in power supply), one of the input terminals of the programmable controller.
Do not connect the "24+" terminal of the external 24V DC power supply to the "24+" terminal of the programmable controller.
Do not connect the "24+" terminal of the external 24V DC power supply to the "24+" terminal of the programmable controller.
