Connecting a USB interface of a personal computer to a programmable controller

The personal computer, with GX Works2 installed, only has a USB interface.
How can I connect the personal computer to a programmable controller?
Category :

Answer

・ The FX-USB-AW can be used for the programmable controllers except for the FX3S/FX3G/FX3GC series.
・ Since the FX3S/FX3G/FX3GC series have the built-in USB port, a personal computer can be connected using a USB cable, GT09-C30USB-5P or MR-3JUSBCBL3M.

To use the FX-USB-AW, install the USB driver provided with the FX-USB-AW, on the personal computer.
For details on how to install the USB driver, refer to the following.
Appendix 16 in the GX Works2 Version 1 Operating Manual (Common) (Manual number: SH-080779ENG)

* The personal computer can also be connected to the FX3U and FX3UC series using the FX3U-USB-BD.
