Externally switching the operating status of a programmable controller
How can I externally switch the operating status of a programmable controller?
Answer
On the Project view of the Navigation window, select "Parameter" → "PLC Parameter" using GX Works2 (or GX Developer). Click the "PLC System(1)" tab, and set the "RUN Terminal Input".
Connect a switch to the RUN terminal set in parameter and transfer program/parameters from the personal computer to the programmable controller. Then, the operating status can be changed using the switch connected.
To enable the RUN/STOP operation by using the switch connected, keep the RUN/STOP switch of a programmable controller in the STOP position.
