How to reset M8004 (Error occurrence)
Is it possible to reset the special auxiliary relay M8004 (Error occurrence) by powering off and on the programmable controller?
Answer
Yes, it is.
However, if the error cause is not eliminated, M8004 will turn on again after powering on.
* How to check the error
In the FX3S/FX3G/FX3GC/FX3U/FX3UC series, if any special auxiliary relay (M8060, M8061, M8064, M8065, M8066, or M8067) is on, M8004 turns on.
When M8004 turns on, a number corresponding to the error is stored in the special register D8004.
Check the number stored in the special register D8004 using a peripheral such as GX Works2(or GX Developer) or FX-30P.
Then, check the error code stored in the special register corresponding to that number. (For example, when the number is 8060, check the code in D8060.) You can find out the error details by checking the error code described in the programming manual for each model.
