Short-circuiting frequency setting terminals
I have a question concerning the general-purpose the inverter FREQROL-E500 series.
Without using a variable resistor, can I operate the inverter at the maximum output frequency by short-circuiting the frequency setting power supply terminal (10) and frequency setting terminal (2)?
Regularly, I attach variable resisters (1 kΩ) to the frequency setting terminals (10, 2, and 5) and operate the inverter. Can I use the inverter by short-circuiting the terminals 10 and 2 using a relay contact?
Without using a variable resistor, can I operate the inverter at the maximum output frequency by short-circuiting the frequency setting power supply terminal (10) and frequency setting terminal (2)?

You can short-circuit the terminals 10 and 2.
If you are considering to perform operation at the maximum frequency, consider using the high-speed command RH of the multi-speed commands. By short-circuiting RH and SD, the inverter operates at 60 Hz with the initial setting.
To change the frequency, change Pr.4.
Note that when RH and SD are short-circuited, setting of the potentiometer is ignored and you do not need to separate the potentiometer wiring using a relay.
