I sometimes turn OFF the power supply to do a task that requires manual intervention during automatic operation.
Since the manual warns that powering ON and OFF the input side frequently affects elements, I am considering to turn ON and OFF the inverter's output side.
I also provide an interlock of frequency "0" as the activation condition of MC on the output side.
1. Is it OK to open MC on the output side while the inverter is operating?
Note that this is only done in case of emergency stop and usually MC is opened after the inverter stops.
2. Is it OK to open the input side in case of emergency stop?
