FAQ
Can I use a motor of which capacity is larger than the inverter capacity?
If the actual load is suppressed to the half or less of the actual motor capacity by controlling motor rotation by an inverter, can I use an inverter of which capacity is half of the motor capacity?
(for example, 15 kW inverter for a 30 kW motor)

Answer
Even when the actual load (torque) is half of the motor capacity, the current output from the inverter to the motor is not reduced to the half.
Therefore, it is questionable whether the usual torque can be output.
In addition, when the fan starts and stops, a larger load than usual is generated and the torque can be insufficient.
It is recommended to choose an inverter of which capacity matches the motor capacity.
