Noise and leakage current (tone modulation control) of low-noise series
Are there any methods to prevent the noise and leakage current from increasing on the low-noise series?
- Category :
Answer
When the carrier frequency increases, noise and leakage current increase accordingly.
To prevent the noise and leakage current from increasing while keeping noise low, it is recommended to reduce the carrier frequency and operate the inverter under tone modulation control.
Tone modulation control automatically varies the carrier frequency to change the metallic tone of motor noise to a compound tone that is gentle with the ear.
Set Pr.71 to "1" to enable tone modulation control.
