Vector control performs high-accuracy calculation using the motor constant.
Therefore, to perform vector control operation, the inverter must recognize the motor constant. (For the vector control dedicated motors, the inverter already memorizes and recognizes their motor constants)
The auto tuning function is used to recognize this motor constant, and by outputting voltage from the vector inverter with the motor connected, this function automatically calculates and memorizes the motor constant from the current flowing through the motor.
When operating a motor other than the dedicated motors, such as standard motor with an encoder, under vector control, you need to perform auto tuning.
