Coasting operation of the inverter
With a system using the FR-A520 + FR-A5NC (CC-Link), I want to send the coasting command from the programmable controller. However, I cannot find the CC-Link assignment for this. How can I configure the system for this?

Answer
To use an inverter using the external contact coast to stop (to shut off the inverter's output), short-circuit the terminals MRS and SD.
For CC-Link operation, this MRS signal (output stop function) is initially assigned to the device number RY9 (9th bit) and setting RY9 to "1" has the inverter to coast to stop.
