Current value monitor indicator
The current value displayed on the inverter's operation panel differs greatly from the current value measured at the inverter's output side using a clamp meter.
The inverter display setting is correct. Is this an inverter fault?

Answer
The measurable frequency range and measurement precision of the inverter's output current greatly differ depending on the measurement instrument.
Check with the manufacturer if the clamp meter you are using can measure the inverter's output current.
Note that the ripple current is also superpositioned over the inverter's output current. It is recommended to use an inverter monitor which is capable of filtering the ripple current.
