Using FR-A540 inverter on CC-Link

Answer to question 1 When the CC-Link option goes faulty, OPT (option error) occurs and the inverter's fault output is triggered. When communication is lost on the CC-Link network, the master station can detect it.
Answer to question 2 The CC-Link option and the operation panel FR-DU04 can be connected to the inverter simultaneously. Therefore, you can install the operation panel on the inverter using the dedicated cable. You cannot use the operation panel FR-DU04 and parameter unit FR-PU04 simultaneously. Use one of the following combinations:
(CC-Link + FR-DU04) or (CC-Link + FR-PU04)
